Butcher's shop Finker

The Rue des Têtes own a 3rd store sign made by Hansi. The artist has made a sign for the butcher's shop of the Finker brother. Hansi represented owners with a big stomach even if it wasn't the truth. Hansi was a dear friend of the brothers and voluntary represented them with a bigger stomach for showing to people that there products were very good to fill our stomach.

On the base of the sign, there is a representation in a badge of the hermit Saint Antoine, recognizable with his beard, reading a book while a fat pig come to see him. The pig reminds that this building is a butcher's shop. On the top of the base, we can see the famous young girl and her gooses.

The sign shows two Alsatian landscapes. Indeed, the badge of Saint Antoine has for background  the Trois Chateaux. Finker Brothers walk into Colmar with ham, we can find it because of the Collégiale Saint Martin.
