Wine Fair of Colmar

The Wine Fair is, every year, a very important moment for Colmar.

Everything have began in 1948 and it's Uncle Hansi who was in charge of the advertising. On the poster of 1948, we can clearly see in the background the Collégiale Saint Martin , on which there is many French flags. In the foreground, there is an arcade created by vine's leaves and 2 bottles of the two main wine of Alsace : the Riesling and the Gewurztraminer. We can see in the corner in the top left the presence of the Colmar's arms with the famous club with golden peaks that Hercules would have forget here.

For the poster dated from 1949, Hansi represented the dawn or the dusk on the Ballons des Vosges , from the balcony of the Hotel Ferch- At the Golden small Keg in Riquewihr. This Sign was designed by Hansi. On the table we can see bottles of wine accompany with a kougelhof on a flowery table.
