Swan's Pharmacy

The Swan's Pharmacy had the opportunity to have a store sign achieved by Hansi. The artist tried to give information thanks to store signs. Indeed, we see at first time the swan, the symbol of the building. However, Hansi showed that this establishment is a pharmacy due to the presence of an apothecary, a person in charge to prepare useful drugs for health so it was the equivalent of the nowadays pharmacist. Furthermore, We can also see  a snake winds around the iron bar of the sign. This snake refers to Asclepius, god of doctors in the Greek mythology, which had a snake winds around his stick. These three elements are put together thanks to a vegetation effect with flowers. The flowers are an imitation of true flowers used by apothecaries for their cures.
